I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Houston, Texas.

My expertise in working with expecting and new parents in the Houston area spans the length of a decade, first as a birth and postpartum doula, and later as a midwife (LM, CPM). Although I loved supporting moms in their birth choices, I felt most in tune fostering the mental health of my patients: holding space for losses, listening to worries, and providing pragmatic resources for the everyday struggles of new parenthood. This led me to make a shift from midwife to therapist, earning my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, with a focus in perinatal mental health to continue working with new mothers and families.

I’m a member of Postpartum Support International and have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I have additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and am Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 certified. I approach therapy from a collaborative and client-centered perspective using models such as IFS, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy.

I am licensed in Texas under LMFT# 205085 clients in person at my office in central Houston and online via teletherapy throughout Texas.
